23 Korean Christians, 15 of which are women, were seized by a couple of Taleban rebels from a bus while they were on their way to the Afghan capital, Kabul. The Koreans were on an aid mission.
The Taleban rebels want their fighters who have been jailed by the Afghans to be released and are using the Koreans as hostages.
2 male hostages have since been killed, one of whom were found with an astounding 10 gunshot wounds.
Just today, a woman who was said to be one of the 21 hostages left pleaded for help in a telephone conversation. She said the captives were ill and frightened and they had been seperated into different groups. She also pleaded the world to pray to save them.

Though there may not be much we can do, I'm sure our prayers would suffice.
Ahh well, enough of the sad stuff. Our school's exchange programme is defintely one of our school's plus points!((: The experience meeting people from other countries and interacting with them is indeed eye opening! I heard the Finnish students will be here this month, it'll be another different and intriguing experience for all of us!!! ((:
