I think one of the greatest things about being "human" is that we have memories that are reasonably persistent throughout most of our life-spans. Our memories provide continuity between our past experiences and the current moment. You can never get too far away from your memories because everything you now experience is focused by lenses either scratched or polished by previous experiences. How you "see" things is unique because the sum total of your experiences is unique. It is a fundamental characteristic of being human. (:

I had always wanted to grow up and be an adult, thinking life would be much more easier and fun than being a child, but I guess I was wrong. Even now, when I'm only a teenager, everything is changing. Life is changing, I am changing, friends are changing...and I thought, hhmm..maybe a grown ups life isn't as perfect as I thought it would be. And somehow, I miss my childhood days. I missed everything and how simple it was before. That's all I want to say. (:
A happy childhood can't be cured. Mine will hang around my neck like a rainbow. ((:
