Silent Tears
A thunderous silence,
That gives me pain,
Watch my tears,
Falling on life’s nameless place
But what of hearts that beat as one,
And what of passion and embrace,
Is it too much to ask of you,
just make these tears of mine erased
You’ve seen the pain that lies in my eyes,
But alas my eyes are dried,
You’ve seen the anger that burns from my gaze,
The madness that sets my eyes ablaze
You’ve seen the fear that closes my eyes
The smile I wear is but a disguise
The memories…
To times of love and laughter-free
The times we had together,
A sense of you, a sense of me
But what of hearts that beat as one,
And what of passion and embrace,
Is it too much to ask of you,
just make these tears of mine erased
How warmly a candle lights up,
In the black most recesses of nights,
The silent tears that I cried,
