Silent Tears

A thunderous silence,

That gives me pain,

Watch my tears,

Falling on life’s nameless place

But what of hearts that beat as one,
And what of passion and embrace,
Is it too much to ask of you,
just make these tears of mine erased

You’ve seen the pain that lies in my eyes,

But alas my eyes are dried,

You’ve seen the anger that burns from my gaze,

The madness that sets my eyes ablaze

You’ve seen the fear that closes my eyes

The smile I wear is but a disguise

The memories…

To times of love and laughter-free

The times we had together,

A sense of you, a sense of me

But what of hearts that beat as one,
And what of passion and embrace,
Is it too much to ask of you,
just make these tears of mine erased

How warmly a candle lights up,

In the black most recesses of nights,

The silent tears that I cried,

But with you went my only light……
