King Lear

Last night, Mr Glover and I went to see King Lear at the Esplanade. It was put up by the Royal Shakespeare Company. It was an excellent performance, and I think that everyone one who watched it was most impressed. Ian McKellen, who stared as Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings and Magneto in the X Men, was really in top form. I consider myself lucky to be able to have had the chance to see these professionals at work. I have attached a clip of the play below though this clip isn't from the Singapore performance. You may not yet understand the language being used, but you will get a sense of what we saw and a glimpse of McKellen's fine acting skills. Thanks to Mr Glover for inviting me to see it.
